How to Start The Horse Guard’s Request Side Quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The Horse Guard’s Request is a side mission that can be found at theOutskirt Stable, southwest of Lookout Landing. It is near the Coliseum Ruins, and the closest shrine to the stable is theTsutsu-um Shrine. There is an old man next to a few horses that will give LinkThe Horse Guard’s Requestside quest when talked to.
The old man, Toffa, believes there are sentient skeleton horses in an area north of the stable and would like to see one with his very eyes. He asks Link to bring him one, and he will be rewarded.

How To Get A Skeletal Horse in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The Skeletal Horses are not very difficult to get, but there are a few requirements to get one. The horses only appear at night, so players mustsit by a fireand pass the time for it to be night.
Then, players will have to travel toSanidin Park Ruins. The ruins can be reached bytaking the road at Outskirt Stable North,and the road will go through the ruins. Once at the ruins, players will have to look around for a Skeletal Horse, but there should be a few around, and it should not be too hard unless it has become early morning.
There is no specific trick onhow to tamea Skeletal Horse – just simply sneak up behind one while crouched and press theA buttonto mount it when the prompt shows up. Be sure to soothe it while riding for an easier trip. Finally, ride the Skeletal Horse back to Toffa for a reward of50 Rupeesand one Pony Point.
