AThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer accidentally took a Goron out for a ride on their hoverbike after having an oddly coincidental conversation. There is a lot of land to explore inTears of the Kingdom. While it’s technically the same Hyrule as the one inBreath of the Wild, this sequel has definitely expanded on things. Now, fans get to visit new places such as caves, mines, the Depths, and even the mysterious islands up in the sky.

Despite these new areas that are now open for exploration, it’s still worth revisiting all the ground areas that were already previously available inBreath of the Wild. Players will encounter characters that they’ve never seen before, and sinceTears of the Kingdomtakes place a few years after its predecessor, they’ll come across some familiar faces as well.Revisiting characters fromBreath of the Wildand seeing how much they’ve changed since the events of the first game is quite interesting.

Northwest of the vast Gerudo Desert, near the Mount Nabooru Cave and theRakakudaj Shrine, a player found Lyndae, a familiar Goron fromBreath of the Wild. Reddit user MDRDT approached him and started a conversation with the traveling Goron. He is slightly upset over the fact that the cliffs in the nearby area are way too high for him to get past, so he has to take the long way around; he adds that he’d like to have wings like the Rito to be able to simply fly over them. Right after this, the player gets on their hoverbike, which they had parked nearby, and accidentally bumps into the Goron, which causes him to lift off as well. Lyndae looks visibly scared while Link takes him on the ride, but in a way, he got what he wished for and was able to fly over the tall cliffs.

Another interesting detail about this interaction is how much Lyndae’s knowledge of the Gerudo language has improved.Breath of the Wildfans might recognize this Goron from the previous game. Even thoughGorons are all male, Lyndae is allowed into Gerudo Town, and while before he couldn’t correctly pronounce popular Gerudo words such as “sav’aaq,” he can do so now.

Gamers have been having a blast creating all kinds ofstrange Ultrahand machines inTears of the Kingdom. Despite this, the hoverbike seems to be one of the most popular designs in the community, not only because it’s practical and efficient but also because it doesn’t require that many resources in order to be built.
