There are various towns scattered through Hyrule in which Link will be able to pay for a bed at an inn to rest for a while before proceeding with his journey in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. When players reach Kakariko Village, they will soon find out that it’s impossible to sleep at the inn because the shopkeeper is missing.

Where To Find the Inn Shopkeeper
To start the Out of the Inn side quest inTears of the Kingdom,players will have to visit the Kakariko Village inn and talk to Dai, who appears to be a simple clerk behind the counter. They soon discover that he’s not actually an employee at the inn and that he was simply asked to keep watch while the owner went someplace else. Dai will reveal that he’s been waiting for ages and would appreciate it if Link could find the innkeeper and bring him back; this will add the Out of the Inn side quest to the player’s Adventure Log.
Gamers can find Ollie, the Kakariko Village innkeeper, in a very unusual place;he is on a Zonai Survey location that overlooks Lantern Lake, north of Paya’s residence. He has fallen asleep on one of theStone Slabs recovered from the Ring Ruins.The coordinates for the innkeeper’s location are 1736, -0902, 0199.
It seems like Ollie is in a deep sleep; if Link speaks to Gordi, the Zonai Survey Team member by his side, he will find out that Ollie has been mumbling nonstop in his sleep aboutHearty Truffles. To wake up the Kakariko Village innkeeper,players must get a Hearty Truffle and drop it next to him.
Hearty Truffle Locations
According to the Hyrule Compendium,Hearty Truffles are most commonlyfound in Hyrule Fieldand West Necluda. Thankfully, there is a nearby location where gamers will be able to find a couple of Hearty Truffles.
Gordi will advise Link tolook by the waterfall on the eastern side of the village, as it seems he saw aHearty Trufflethat floated in from somewhere nearby. To find Hearty Truffles quickly, players shouldhead to the waterfall brink, where they will findthe entrance to the Kakariko Village Cave. Inside, they will be able to collect some Hearty Truffles that they can bring back to Ollie.
Ollie will wake up as soon as Link drops the Hearty Truffle beside him. Afterward, he will immediately return to the inn. To complete the Out of the Inn side quest, players must go back to the inn and talk to Dai. He will show his gratitude by giving Link aSticky Elixir.
