Reddit user Aggravating_Tap_7645 shared their take on acustomZeldaamiibofor the game and decided to go with the title’s most powerful character as their model.

The homemade amiibo is designed after a hidden character inThe Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. Known as Fierce Deity Link, players can only go hands-on with this version of the hero should they haveevery one of theMajora’s Mask’s masksheading into the final battle against the title’s antagonist, Skull Kid. The mask transforms Young Link into an immensely powerful being said to be an ancient hero and deity fromMajora Mask’s setting of Termina. The mask imbues him with adult size and strength, as well as the Fierce Deity Sword which is an impressive greatsword with the ability to shoot magical beams of energy at enemies.

Aggravating_Tap_7645’s take onThe Legend of Zelda: Majora Mask’s mythical character is impressive. It looks to be a non-functional amiibo that was 3D printed and hand painted. The iconic long white hair, armor, and face paint are implemented in the figure’s design. The immense Fierce Deity Sword is held at the ready for anyone that dares challenge the godlike being, and the figure stands atop an all-black base emblazoned with the series' Z logo.

Nintendo did eventually release an officialMajora’s Maskamiibo. The publisher planned to create one amiibo for every playable character inSuper Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.It took some time to finally get to Young Link, but his amiibo, officially titled Link (Majora’s Mask), launched in the U.S. on June 05, 2025.Zeldaamiibo restocks have been appearing on retailer websitesin anticipation ofTears of the Kingdom’s imminent release.

Outside ofThe Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, the character has not appeared in the main series ofZeldagames. In themixed-reviewedThe Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroesfor Nintendo 3DS, players could earn the Fierce Deity Armor set, which gave players the ability to shoot sword beams as a reward for completing the Den of Trials. Additionally, inThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, players who use the aforementioned Link (Majora’s Mask) amiibo can obtain the Fierce Deity set. This included head armor, body armor, leg armor, and a greatsword, all styled to look like the iconic character fromMajora’s Maskfinale. The armor’s description reads that each piece was “once worn by a hero from a world in which the moon threatened to fall. It looks scary, but wearing it offers fierce, godlike power.”
