An IRL (in real life) streamer on YouTube seemed to have been robbed out of nowhere on his December 10 stream.
IRL streamers are personalities that stream scenarios in their everyday life. They tend to take suggestions from listeners or people they find in their surroundings in an attempt to create interesting content. Usually, this turns out some entertaining, harmless stories. Other times, and thankfully less often,some people do crazy things for views. But this streamer seemed to have found himself at the wrong place and wrong time.

When it comes to streaming, the usual drama isterms of service being broken with Twitchor someone saying something controversial. But streamer LivewithEvan, a previous collaborator with Paul “IcePoseidon” Denino, had a much darker problem. While streaming on his YouTube channel last night, he found himself walking through his city in search of a taco truck while chatting with viewers. He kept switching between his phone’s front camera and back camera to show his route when a dark figure ran up behind him and seemed to attack him. Expletives were yelled and the camera goes crazy before the feed cut out.

The attacker had his face obscured, either due to lighting or a mask on their face. The quality of the video was too low to tell, especially with all the movement and how quickly it all happened. As of the publishing of this article, Evan’s condition is unknown, nor has he publically spoken about what happened. Fans have taken to Reddit in hopes of an update on his condition, but so far, nothing has arisen. Some commenters think it’s fake, but with no further information, this assumption remains baseless.
Incidents like this make some ofTwitch’s wrong moves, like banning someone for saying “nerd"a suddenly missed piece of drama. At least nobody’s lives are in danger then. Fans and concerned internet users alike await an update on Evan’s condition, and hopefully a clue on who his attacker was.
