World of Warcraft: Shadowlandsbrought many new novelties to the game, from Torghast to Covenant abilities, but the final zone of the expansion tries to hearken back to the more nostalgic gameplay loops such as those found in Timeless Isle or theArgus zones fromLegion. One of the ways Zereth Mortis emulates those zones is by introducing puzzles and treasures that reward exploration and problem-solving. Sometimes players need an extra nudge, however, and there is nothing wrong with perusing a guide for a point in the right direction.
How to Open Crushed Supply Crate
Treasures in Zereth Mortisgrant plenty of neat cosmetic rewards, and to obtain their desirable contents, sometimes players need special tools to pry them open. Such is very much the case when it comes toopening a Crushed Supply Crate. To get their hands on the loot awaiting within,World of Warcraftplayers must first make their way to the treasure’s location shown on the map below, where they will find the Crushed Supply Crate buried underneath a large, immovable pile of rocks.

to break through the boulders barring the way, players inWorld of Warcraftwill have to interact with a small, easy-to-miss Repair Tool hanging off a crevice just above the Crushed Supply Crate. Looting the green-plated cylinder will give players a Roaming Repair Tool item, which will allow them to talk to the distressed automa named Hiu Fi found northeast from the pile of rocks where the treasure lies buried.
Interacting with the triangular-shaped Hiu Fi after obtaining the Roaming Repair Tool will allow players to trade it in for the Jiro Hammer, a tool better suited for their task in prying open the contents of the Crushed Supply Crate.
With hammer in hand, players will finally be able to interact with the fallen rocks surrounding the treasure. After letting the game play the animation a few times, the way to the supply crate will finally be open. While the crate does not hold any unique loot on its own, it can drop a potent piece of equipment that anyWorld of Warcraftaltshould have.
Looting the Crushed Supply Crate counts towards the requirements tounlock flying in Zereth Mortis, as it asks the players to obtain at least five treasures in the zone. For those searching for more treasures, the Crushed Supply Crate only counts as one of the 27 total hidden all across Zereth Mortis, where a major chapter inWarcraft’sstory is finally coming to an end.
