World of Warcraftjust revealed the official release date forDragonflightPatch 10.0.5. The first content update forWorld of Warcraft: Dragonflight, this exciting patch adds some new features to the MMO, including the highly-anticipated Trading Post.
Patch 10.0.5 does not continuethe story ofDragonflight, but it is adding tons of new systems, from cosmetics and world events to accessibility and UI updates. Players can expect Patch 10.0.5 to go live on January 24.

When the patch is live,World of Warcraftplayers will finally be able to transmog grey and whitequality items–a feature that was teased duringDragonflight’sproduction. Additionally, the Tempest Unleashed pre-patch event forDragonflightis returning in a new way with the Storm’s Fury event, bringing with it both old and new rewards. Additionally,World of Warcraftis building upon its updated UI to add even more options for convenience and accessibility.
Perhaps the most excitingfeature coming inWorld of WarcraftPatch 10.0.5 is the Trading Post. Starting February 1, players can visit the Trading Post in each of their capital cities to earn a monthly allowance of special currency that can be exchanged for exclusive rewards. Players can earn additional Trader’s Tender by completing fun and thematic challenges of all kinds. The rewards and currency caps reset every month, allowing players to earn new collectibles and complete challenges quite frequently.
Players are understandably excited for Patch 10.0.5 to go live inWorld of Warcraft. Many have been clamoring for white and gray transmogs for years now, so their arrival is like a dream come true. Additionally, some of the amazingrewards obtainable throughWorld of Warcraft’sTrading Posthave fostered a great deal of hype for the new feature, and players can’t wait to see what items might appear in it in the future.
World of Warcraftplayers won’t have to wait long for the next update after Patch 10.0.5. Patch 10.0.7 is slated to arrive in the spring, bringing with it a new story chapter in the Forbidden Reach, as well as Human and Orc Heritage Armor Questlines. By summer, players can expect Patch 10.1, which will add a new zone, raid, and season for PvP and Mythic+.World of Warcraftalso just announced therelease date of the Ulduar raid inWrath of the Lich King Classic.
