Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s second expansion,The Indigo Disk, takes players to another new area called Blueberry Academy. They’ve created an artificial “region” split up into four distinct biomes; one of the first ones you’ll have to visit as part of the DLC’s story is theCoastal Biometo meet up withLacey.The professor there will task you with a short assignment:Alolan Forms.He wants you to go out in the Coastal Biome andcatch any Alolan Form Pokemon.In this guide, we’ll show you what theAlolan form Pokemonlook like and where to catch them inThe Indigo DiskDLC.
What are Alolan Form Pokemon?
Alolan form Pokemon were introduced inPokemon SunandMoonfor the Nintendo 3DS. Pokemon you might have seen in a place like the Kanto region, likeDiglett, for example, will have a different form in the Alola region. However, these forms have made their way into different regions, like Blueberry Academy. Here are some pictures of the Alolan form Pokemon you may find inThe Indigo Disk:

Where to Easily Catch an Alolan Form Pokemon for the Teacher in The Indigo Disk
If you don’t have the Pokedex locations filled out yet for Pokemon like Diglett or Grimer, a Pokemon trainer named Leo is only a few steps north/northwest of where the professor and the class are. If you defeat his team ofAlolan Pokemon, their locations will show up in the Pokedex, making it easier for you to locate them.
If you just want to know the best spot to find Alolan Pokemon, just go to the grassy hill north of the class, shown in the images below.
There’s Grimer and Exeggutor all over the place –so just approach one and weaken it before tossing a Poke Ball at it. Once you have one, return to the class and show the Pokemon to the professor.
Once the mission is completed, Lacey will tell you about BP and Blueberry Quests (BBQs). If you press the right direction button, available quests will appear. Complete them to earn BP that can be used to purchase items at the Blueberry Academy cafeteria or store. You can also donate the points to support school clubs in the League Club room.
