Call of Duty: Modern Warfareis nearing the end of Season 3, and now that it has released basically all of the content promised by its road map, fans are anxious to see what’s next. Infinity Ward has started ramping up the teases forModern WarfareSeason 4 in-game, and while an official start date hasn’t been announced yet, one date in particular seems likely.
Based on the length of previous seasons, the most likely scenario is thatCall of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 4 will begin on Wednesday, June 3. TheModern WarfareSeason 3 Battle Passis set to expire on Tuesday, June 2, and in the past, Infinity Ward has started the next season the day after the previous Battle Pass ends. It’s possible Infinity Ward will extendModern WarfareSeason 4, but if it doesn’t, then fans should expect it to start within a couple of weeks time.

WhenModern WarfareSeason 4 launches, it will likely include new maps, playlists, and more. Unlike previous seasons, there haven’t been a ton of leaks aboutModern WarfareSeason 4, but official teases from Infinity Ward have suggested thatCaptain Price will be a new playable operatoronce Season 4 starts.
While there haven’t been many leaks in regards to whatModern WarfareSeason 4 will entail, that doesn’t meant that there haven’t been any leaks at all. Dataminers have found evidence of the new weapons that could be coming toCall of Duty: Modern WarfareandWarzoneSeason 4 in the form of theGalil and Vector SMG. Of course, it’s possible Infinity Ward will go in a different direction, but it would be surprising if the Galil and Vector SMG aren’t added at some point during Season 4.
Call of DutySeason 4 will mean big things for theWarzonebattle royale as well. Infinity Ward recently opened theWarzonebunker doors, and now players have discovered a nuke on the map. Theories point to the nuke blowing up and changing part of the map, though that remains to be seen. Regardless, Infinity Ward definitely seems to be building up to some big event forWarzoneat the start of Season 4, so fans should stay tuned.
If theCall of DutySeason 4start date is June 3 as theorized, then additional information should come sooner rather than later, along with a DLC road map and more.
