InWarhammer Vermintide 2, players will want to start knocking out collectibles as soon as possible. Collecting these rewards has the immediate benefit of upgrading the prize’s quality at the end of the match. If players find all of them, they get a huge boost.

Even with the prize aside, players won’t be able to say they’ve fully completed a level without every tome and grimoire collected. Some books can be found by curious minds but others require an awful lot of experimentation to unlock. Thankfully, theWarhammerVermintide 2community has done the legwork, showing collectors where each piece is in Convocation of Decay.
Tome #1
The first area after the starting point is called ‘Temple Hospice.’ The tome in this location is on top of a bunk bed, the first set of beds on the left side of the room before entering it.
Thankfully, gamers don’t have to do any tricky platforming to reach it. The book is hard to be but it can be grabbed from either side of the bed.Solo players can use botsto pick up these items for them if they’d like.
Grimoire #1
Players who have mastered this level know exactly the right thing to do here, but to find the first grimoire, they actually have to do the wrong thing first. Press the left stone until the left door opens and then head through. Take the first right and jump on a tilted dresser to access a hidden pressable block. Tap it, then exit the room and head right.

This block opened a hole in the wall on the left. Inside, the first grimoire rests in a wooden box.The game can be long enough as it is, but missing these grimoires is passing up on easy loot, be sure to get them.
Tome #2
For a foolproof way to get the second tome, hug the left wall upon reaching the area that reads ‘Garrison Sewers.’ This will lead to a wooden box to the left of the main path that has the tome resting inside it.
If the tide of enemies gets too strong, equip some gear withthe best traitsto cut them down.
Grimoire #2
After dropping down into an area called ‘Old City Cesspit,’ look to the right and find a key on the remnants of a shattered barrel by a pillar. As a fair warning, the key sometimes doesn’t spawn. This is a bug that, according to the forums, is several years old. Moderators do not say the key is randomly placed, so, unfortunately, if the key isn’t here, players will have to snag this grimoire another time.

After acquiring the key, go forward and spot a wheelbarrow next to some rocks against the wall. The player can navigate their way into the stone rafters by jumping from the wheelbarrow to the rocks, then from the rocks onto the ledge (it looks small, but the characters can indeed walk on it). Then jump onto the barracks and go down the only path forward. Eventually, there will be a locked box next to the exit hole with the final grimoire inside.
Using asuperior career classcan make this entire process much easier.
Tome #3
When the words ‘Carlomant’s Memorium’ pop up on the screen, look straight ahead and note the structure directly in front. There are two sidewalks leading behind the structure. On the back, the last book is nicely placed on a table.
Getting all the tomes and grimoires on legendary of higher difficulty will give playersthe best odds of acquiring red veteran loot boxes.
