The competitive shooterValorantexploded onto the scene earlier this year, taking that familiar technical FPS gameplay and mixing it with a colorful cast of characters with different abilities. For many Valorant is a cross between the twitch style gameplay ofCounter Strike: Global Offensiveand Blizzard Entertainment’sOverwatchdue to it’sroster of different classes that caters to a wide range of players. For now, the game features 13 different agents players can pick from, though a new one appears to be right around the corner thanks to a series of leaks.

While the character is only known as 14 for the time being, a huge leak appeared on theValorantsubReddit seemingly showcasing two minutes of the new agent in action inside of the training lobby. A loading screen could also be clearly seen with the agent’s name, Yoru, appearing in the UI. The agents moveset appears to revolve around deception, with a portal move that may be familiar to fans of Wraith inApex Legends.

The clip also appears to show off Yoru’s ultimate ability. When activated, Agent 14 seemingly goes invisible and may even be invulnerable to enemy attacks after grabbing a Hannya mask. According to the leak, Yoru can create footstep sound effects to trick enemies, launch a flash attack which detonates after hitting a surface, and create a portal system which allows the player to teleport through. Pressing the fire button sends the portal ahead, while alternative fire anchors it.

While the news is technically unofficial and should be taken with a grain of salt, a lot of the leaked information in this subReddit post actually lines up with previously teased details fromRiot Games. Last year, Riot teased out a short video showing in-game footage of Brimstone, Raze, and others along with one fans didn’t recognize. The male character featured spiked blue hair and a jacket that now resembles the leaked image of Yoru. In addition, Riot also teased that Agent 14 would “tear open” Episode 2 and considering that Yoru can open portals, the leaked information seems to align.

Thankfully, players don’t have to wait too much longer to find out who Agent 14 actually is. Episode 2 Act 1 is set to launch on January 12, though news on the agent will likely come a few days in advance as Riot details all of the changes coming in this next massive update. In addition to Agent 14, players are expecting to heardetails about a new Team Ranked Mode, which was recently teased by Riot Games. If confirmed, this new mode will give full teams a way to queue into a separate competitive mode.
