As reported by IGN, Turtle Beach recently revealed its upcoming “Stealth Ultra” controller for Xbox and PC, featuring a variety of premium features for the controller. The most noticeable inclusion comes with the controller’s dashboard screen, featuring smartphone connectivity to display notifications from apps like WhatsApp and Instagram. Thecontroller also features customizable RGB lightingalongside the ability to re-map buttons on the controller, as well as adjusting the thumbstick sensitivity. Turtle Beach’s Stealth Ultra controller is scheduled to launch on December 15, retailing for $199.99 USD.
Turtle Beach’s decadent new controllerwill also use its dashboard display to allow players to make a variety of changes to the controller. Players can use the screen to check for dead zones within the thumbsticks, with the developer touting the controller’s “AntiDrift” technology, improving accuracy and durability. The controller package will come with two extra pairs of thumbstick caps as well, allowing players to customize their controller to their particular preference. The controller is also said to feature significant battery life and a quick charge time, with a two-hour charge said to last for 30 hours when using the controller’s “Eco Mode” setting.

The Stealth Ultra will look to compete in an Xbox market full of premium controller offerings for the Microsoft console. Microsoft launchedtwo new colors for its Elite Series 2 controllersearlier this year, allowing players to pick up the Elite controllers in red and blue. Xbox Design Lab also rolled out a multitude of new designs for players looking to pick up custom controllers in September, featuring themes like “Aqua” and “Cosmic Shift.” Turtle Beach’s Stealth Ultra looks to offer a premium experience for players looking to get the most out of their controllers.
