The December 8 live test ofThe Division Resurgencewill be the game’s largest one to date. It will encompass a variety of Android devices and run until December 22. That said, not all smartphones and tablets that the developers are planning to support at launch will be included in the December beta. The easiest way for fans to tell whether their devices are part of the planned testing is to check whether they can find and pre-register for the game via the Google Play Store. Even if they manage to do so, that doesn’t guarantee they’ll receive an invitation to participate in this particular beta, Ubisoft warned, hinting that the game’s eventual release will be preceded by more live tests.
Closed beta progress inThe DivisionResurgencewill not carry over to the finished game, according to the official support page dedicated to the test. On the bright side, Ubisoft isn’t placing any limitations on content creators, saying that they are free to record and share as much gameplay footage as they want.
The story ofThe Division Resurgencewill be independent of the previous two entries, though it might share some locations with the 2016The Division, given how both titles take place in New York City. Ubisoft previously promised the mobile spinoff will introduce new factions, gear, and enemies, on top of bringing back some highly popular features from the original games, including the deadly PvP environment ofTheDivision’sDark Zone.
