EA has recently revealed the newWerewolvesGame Pack forThe Sims 4, which adds a new playable town inhabited by a populace of werewolves and gives players the opportunity to create their very own. A trailer showcasingThe Sims 4Werewolvesexpansion has been uploaded along with the announcement of the expansion’s release date.
The Sims 4is the latest inThe Simssocial simulator franchise, having been released in 2014. In the time since its release, the game has received countless expansions and add-ons that expand on its gameplay possibilities and provide new options for home decorating and character customization. The game hosts 11 expansion packs includingCats & Dogs, which incorporates pet care, andDiscover University, which focuses on the college experience. It currently also features 11 Game Packs, many of which introduce new worlds to visit such asStar Wars: Journey to BatuuandOutdoor Retreat, which takes players to the Granite Falls vacation world.

The latest of these Game Packs isThe Sims 4 Werewolves,and as its name implies, it’s all about bringing a lycanthropic twist to the familiarSims 4gameplay formula. Players will visit a new destination world, Moonwood Mill, a gloomy mill town shrouded in a misty forest. Players may design their own werewolf usingThe Sims' deep character customization, with possibilities for fierce and sinister or cute and cuddly werewolves. Facial structure, ears, eyes, and tufts of fur can all be edited, and the player’s werewolf and human appearances can either be linked for parity or decoupled to create a werewolf form that’s vastly different from their human form.
Other activities in thislatestSims 4Game Packinclude joining one of two rival werewolf packs: the rustic and traditional Moonwood Collective or the free-spirited, scrappy, and rebellious werewolves from the Wildfangs pack. Players may rise through the ranks and become the Alpha of their chosen pack. Werewolves may unlock new abilities such as sprinting on all fours, marking their territory, and immortality. Players may uncover the magical lore hidden throughout Moonwood Mill, unraveling the truth behind the werewolf presence and discovering the pasts of the town’s various werewolf residents.
