IfThe Flashfranchise keeps going from here, they could potentially include Flash’s biggest archenemy, the Reverse-Flash, in a future installment. If they do, fan art has been made to give fans a little preview of what could potentially come.WithThe Flashcoming out this summer and all the buzz surrounding it leading up to its upcoming release, it’s never too early to speculate where the franchise is headed. Recent fan art depicted not only what Reverse-Flash could look like if he hits the big screen, but it also depicts star Ezra Miller as the villain.RELATED:James Gunn Clarifies Batman Casting And The Flash Cameo RumorsIn fan art created byRahal Arts, the image featured a dual portrayal of Miller as The Flash and The Reverse-Flash with a caption that read, “Would you like reverse flash to show up in the Flash movie? #TheFlash #TheFlashMovie #theflashfilme #reverseflash.” To pull off the image, half of it has Miller in his Flash getup. In contrast, the other half has Miller in The Reverse Flash getup, which has little details like how The Flash has a primarily red color to cover his suit with his yellow lightning bolt. In contrast, The Reverse-Flash has a primarily yellow color to cover his suit with his red lightning bolt to demonstrate how the two are polar opposites.

The Reverse-Flash wasprominently featured inThe FlashTV Showthroughout its run, so it would be no shock if he is involved in the DCU shortly. Even though many have called out the superhero film industry for making its villains carbon copies of the supes themselves, The Reverse-Flash is among the better-known versions of that trope, which is why fans may not take much issue with him (or her) being involved in a sequel. That will all depend on how the upcoming installment of the speedster does both critically and commercially.

Of course, the real question is whetherMiller will be involved withThe Flashfranchisemoving forward after all the legal trouble they got into over the last several months. At the moment, Warner Bros. has not punished Miller for their illegal activities, outside of acknowledging what they did to the public. That may be due to the timing of the film’s upcoming release, and perhaps they won’t do anything until afterward. Miller’s proven to be a good casting as The Flash, and there is such a thing as separating art from the artist, but Miller’s legal troubles may be a little too much of a red flag for Warner Bros. to sweep under the rug.

Warner Bros. will cross that bridge when they come to it. They’re focused on rebooting the DCEU after all the corporate changes they made last year. The Flashis supposed to do that, and if it works out, then at the very least, the franchise has a direction to go from here. Whether that will involve Miller or not, DC has a lot riding on this film.
