Mini-games are short activities that unlock throughout the years. However, there is little in-game information on the mini-games or how to play them. Players can get small rewards when they win, so taking the time to discover them is worth it. So, here’s how to unlock and play mini-games inStory of Seasons: A Wonderful Life.

How to Unlock Mini-Games in A Wonderful Life
Mini-Games inStory of Seasons: A Wonderful Lifeare short puzzles, challenges, or tasks players can complete for items like Ores and Meals. There are a total of three mini-games that become available during the main story. Mini-games aren’t unlocked by doing anything specific but occur naturally as the years go by and players get to know the residents.
They are triggered randomly when playersspeak to certain villagersand are optional. Mini-games are simple, and after playing them once, players revisit them whenever they talk to the corresponding villager at the right time again. The rewards depend on the mini-games, but eventually, players can unlock all of them.

Gravestone Cleanup
Players will remember Nina and Gary as the old married couple who lived in the Townhouses. In Year Two, Nina will pass away, and then a mini-game will become available involving cleaning her grave site. Players can find the gravestone easily as Gary moves into a new house near the river in front of Nina’s headstone.
Every morning around 6:00 AM, Gary will visit her gravestone, and players can talk to him. If thefriendship meter is high enough, he will ask if they want to help him clean Nina’s grave. This will trigger a mini-game called Gravestone Cleanup.

Players get limited time to scrub the stone by hitting the correct input at the right time. The more accurate the player’s timing is, the more progress they’ll make on the gravestone. If they get to at least 80% or higher, Gary will reward them with a rare fish, and they’ll get to enjoy a heartwarming cutscene featuring Nina.
Territory
The Territory mini-game doesn’t have nearly as morbid background and becomes available in Year Three. Players should build up their relationship with the twins, Cole and Charlie, to ensure the game unlocks. Then, visit their house and talk to one of them. They’ll ask if players want to play a game if Territory is available.

Territory is a strategy game, and a different color represents each player. The main objective for players is to fill in as many triangles with the designated color and claim it as their territory. The only way to fill a triangle is to place sticks in the slots until fully enclosed.
The larger the triangle, the more territory is claimed, but opponents can break up the sticks or steal them if players aren’t careful. Cole is a much more competitive player than Charlie. The rewards for winning include rare ores onlyfound in the Dig Site.

Order Up
Order Up is a late-game mini-game that becomes available in Year Four. Players can visit the Lei-Over Inn during certain times and speak with Lou to play the game. Whether it is available depends on whether Hugh, Van, or Garret are also at the inn.
Van and Garret are only in town on the third and eighth of each season. Garret will be there from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM, while Van goes between 11:00-11:30 PM. Hugh visits after his morning run around 10:00 AM every day other than the third and eighth.

Go to the Lei-Over Inn, and if one of the required NPCs is in there, talk to Lou. She will tell players she needs help in the kitchen if they are okay with assisting. The game’s objective is to cook as many dishes as possible within a set time limit.
The dishes are completed by players pressing a sequence of keys or buttons. They must start the line back over if they mess up the order. If players complete enough plates, Lou will reward them witha dish and the recipe.
