Users won’t even need to downloadVermintide 2in order to add it to their library, thanks to the recent changes to free games made by Steam.
In terms of its gameplay,Vermintide 2can be compared somewhat toLeft 4 Dead, as each player takes on the role of a unique character battling through hordes of enemies. However, inWarhammer: Vermintide 2, the enemies are not zombies but instead hordes of rat-men known as the Skaven who fight alongside Chaos Warriors of Nurgle. Inupdates forWarhammer: Vermintide 2, the Beastmen were added as new foes and another game mode was introduced in the Chaos Wastes. The latter update essentially added a roguelike mode toVermintide 2, giving players access to powerful buffs on their runs through procedurally generated maps.
WhereWarhammer: Vermintide 2shines is in its unique classes, as well as consistent gameplay loop.
