The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrimhas entertained fans for over a decade now. With anElder Scrollssequel still likely a ways off, fans are still finding things to do in the homeland of the Nords. Most by now have explored the extent ofSkyrim’smain questlines, becoming a prominent member of the Companions, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood all in one, leading to some confused guards that know the player as all three.
Despite many gamers now having at least sampled the hundreds of hours of contentSkyrimhas to offer, players who have even completed the game will often find themselves booting it back up for another run. SomeSkyrimplayers start the game all over again with the hopes of choosing different options in some of the game’s quests, while others simply want to avoid the stealth archer character trope that somanySkyrimcharactersfall into. There are also those that simply want to play and make a different character usingSkyrim’scharacter creator.

As with character creators in other game’s,Skyrimallows for a decent level of customization when a player is first making their Dragonborn. From making a courier lookalike to help with a pacifist run, tocreating Ciri fromThe Witcher 3,Skyrimplayers are often coming up with new and unique ways to create a character. One player made something rather unique with theirSkyrimcharacter, perhaps indicating they’re going for a more sinister run.
Reddit user PapaNoida showed off their createdSkyrimcharacter, which is a Dragonborn version ofPatrick Bateman fromAmerican Psycho. The horror film has become quite popular on the internet as of late due to memes, and so it’s not too surprising that aSkyrimplayer chose to make the character in-game. In the comments of the Reddit post,American Psychofans were joking that next they want to see Paul Allen’s character, a reference to the business card scene in the movie.
Another comment said that if the character was to amass a lot of gold, they could double as Bruce Wayne, another ofAmerican Psychoactor Christian Bale’s memorable performances. Even the nightingale armor was referenced as similar to aSkyrimversion ofBatman. Very few players in the comments seemed concerned for the safety ofSkyrim’scitizens now that Patrick Bateman has arrived in the game, yet with most players' antics, the NPCs of the game aren’t very safe to begin with.
Skyrimis available now on PC, PS3, PS4, Switch, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
