When fast traveling to the city of Whiterun, aSkyrimplayer notices that Nazeem, the Redguard that gets a lot of ire from fans, was already dead on arrival, or at least that’s what they claim. While the world is still waiting to hear aboutwhen Bethesda will releaseThe Elder Scrolls 6, with the developer teasing it all the way back in 2018, fans are still keeping themselves occupied in the 2011 RPG, sometimes uniting over their hatred of this particular NPC.
So despised is the Whiterun resident that many get great joy in eliminating him. OneSkyrimfan even killed Nazeem every day for over a year, and many others think little of murdering the Redguard. However, it appears as though the unpopular character does not always find themselves at the end of the Dragonborn’s sword, as it appears as though he’s been killed without any input from the player.

In a recent post on Reddit, user Financial_Limit_3391 has shown a rather grim screenshot from theirSkyrimplaythrough, which depicts just the head of Nazeem lying on the ground. The player says they found him like this, insinuating that someone, or something, else must have decapitated the character. Other users in the thread have expressed little sympathy over the murdered NPC, with some regaling stories of their own experiences with offing Nazeem. Of course, there’s no way to know for sure what actually happened, and some have joked that they don’t quite believe Financial_Limit_3391 when they say they found him in this state when they arrived in Whiterun.
For those who aren’t familiar with the game, Nazeem isone of the most hated characters inSkyrim, and there’s one simple reason behind this. When the player wanders around Whiterun, if they happen upon this particular citizen, they will most likely be asked by him whether they ever get to the Cloud District. Before an answer can be given, Nazeem quickly responds with, “what am I saying? Of course you don’t,” in a very snobbish manner. It’s this line of dialogue that’s caused many to simply lose their temper at the audacity of this NPC and kill him on sight.
In fact,Skyrimcan often bring the worst out in people, as a bunch of fans recently began confessing some of the awful things they’ve done in the game. There is something about being a powerful being trying to fulfill a prophecy that can turn some into bloodthirsty killers, and sometimes people like Nazeem just tip the Dragonborn over the edge.
