A few days ago, Nintendo held a Direct event, which saw the announcement of several new games and updates on upcoming Switch titles. However, one of the most significant announcements made at the latest Nintendo Direct is thatNintendo Switch Onlinewill be getting Sega Genesis games soon.
It is worth remembering that before the Direct presentation, rumors claimed that Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games were going to be added to Switch Online. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, as confirmed by Nintendo, but the upcoming arrival of Sega Genesis games on Switch Online is definitely a welcome addition. According to Nintendo,14 Sega Genesis gameswill be offered to Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack in late October, and here are the games players should try out first.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Of course, the Sega Genesis experience wouldn’t be complete without aSonic the Hedgehoggame.
