Saints Rowis just a few weeks from release, meaning fans will be taking on the role of the new Boss as the Saints invent themselves for the first time in Santo Ileso. The Saints have faced opposition many a time in the past, and this is no different. Other than the police of Santo Ileso,Saints Rowplayers have three main factions to watch their backs for.

These are theanti-capitalist revolutionaries cult The Idols, the militant Marshall Industries, and the rough and tough Los Panteros. These gangs represent the main stopgaps in the Saints' rise to power, so a briefer ahead ofSaints Rows' release may be in order.

Saints Row: Los Panteros Gang

Of the three enemy factions inSaints Row, Los Panteros are the most gang-like. The Marshalls are essentially a private military, while the Idols are more like a fanatic cult. Make no mistake, though, Los Panteros are a gang. Los Panteros want to control their territory, and probably even more, in Santo Ileso, and it’s this source of conflict that arecently showed offSaints Rowmissiondemonstrates, pitting the Boss against Los Panteros. They’re all also major motorheads, with there being a place called the Forge where they manufacture vehicles inhumanly quick.

Again, with Marshall being a military and The Idols being more concerned with raves than control, Los Panteros is the most dominantgang inSaints Row(before the Saints' rise to power). They are led by Sergio Velez, who established the common tactic of physical intimidation by Los Panteros. Many of these enemies will be tanks and heavy-hitting enemies who are as likely to whip out a baseball bat as a gun. Furthermore, because of Sergio’s insistence but hypocrisy in regards to family, the gang is more of a personal crime syndicate than a for-the-people establishment.

It’s Sergio that Neenah is at odds with inSaints Row. As players learn, all the Boss' companions, except Eli, hail from different gangs before forming the Saints.Neenah was the best getaway driver in Los Panterosand, indeed, all Santo Ileso, so her departing for another faction is likely the sort of disrespect Sergio cannot tolerate. This is likely one of many reasons players will face him in the game, but how it all shakes out remains in the air.

Saints Rowreleases on August 23 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
