The poster was pointed out by AestheticGamer, known for their accurateResident Evilfranchise and horror game leaks. The poster in theResident Evil 3remake demois for a movie calledDisaster, and it looks to be mimickingResident Evil 6art. Some fans think that this is just a coincidence, but others are taking it as Capcom callingRE6a “disaster.”

Resident Evil 6was criticized at the time of its release for abandoning the franchise’s horror roots almost entirely, pacing issues, and more. The game is generally considered theworst main seriesResident Evilgame, and that is reflected by its Metacritic review average, which trails behind all of its prequels and sequels. The only main seriesResident Evilgame that has comparably low review scores isResident Evil: Revelations 2.
