Often overlooked with all of the currentLast of Us 2drama is the other PlayStation exclusive,Ghost of Tsushima. Sucker Punch’s upcoming action game was originally scheduled for release in June, but was bumped a few weeks tomake room for Naughty Dog’s latest. While fans continue to wait for more gameplay and other details from the game, Sucker Punch is showing off a few cool items included for pre-ordering the game.
From the officialGhost of TsushimaTwitter account, Sucker Punch revealed two new dynamic themes for the PlayStation 4 that can be earned simply by pre-ordering. Previously, the studio revealed that anyone who pre-orders any version of the game will score a digital mini soundtrack, a digital avatar of the game’s protagonist Jin Sakai, as well as a new dynamic theme based on the game’s box art. The theme shows Jin standing in a field looking at his mask with red leaves blowing through the wind.

One theme wasn’t the end however as the studio revealed another dynamic theme available to those who pre-order the Digital Deluxe or Collector’s Edition. As the clip shows, the new dynamic theme shows a samurai warrior facing off against multiple enemies, likely Mongols. What makes this theme so unique is how the image appears to get drawn with an ink brush. The theme also plays atmospheric music from the game in the background as well.
In addition to multiple dynamic themes, the Digital Deluxe and Special Editions of the game come with a digital art book, director’s commentary, the Hero of Tsushima skin for Jin and his Horse, as well as in-game bonuses like a technique point and charm. For those willing to spend a bit more on the game, the Collector’s Editionalso comes with a physical edition of the art book, cloth map, war banner, and a Furoshiki wrapping cloth. The big piece to this set, however, is the Jin Sakai mask that can be displayed on its stand.
While it’s always nice to get a closer look at what';s coming in a pre-order or special edition, most fans continue to clamor for new gameplay or information on the game. Since the last trailer arrived in the first week of March, Sucker Punch has again gone fairly silent, leaving fans to wonder when the next bit of information would arrive. Newdetails surfaced a few weeks ago from Australiawho unsurprisingly gave the game a Mature rating due to intense violence, strong themes, blood and gore, and mild nudity.
