Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s next Tera Raid event will feature version-exclusive ghost Pokemon Mismagius and Drifblim. The spooky duo will appear more frequently in raids, allowing players to easily fill out their Pokedex.

Though Mismagius and Drifblim aren’t the most popular Pokemon, they can be worthwhile additions to the player’s party. On top of that, they must be caught in order to complete thePokemon Scarlet & VioletPokedex. Players will have a great opportunity to catch these version exclusives and get them with an unorthodox Tera Type.

When is the Drifblim and Mismagius Tera Raid Event?

The Drifblim and Mismagius Tera Raid event will run across one weekend, starting on January 20. The exact timing and schedule were revealed onPokemon Scarlet & Violet’s official site:

Unlikeseven-star Tera Raid events, these Pokemon will only be featured across one weekend. Which Pokemon is featured will depend on which version of the game players are enjoying.

Drifblim isPokemon Scarlet-exclusive, andScarletplayers will see more raids with the Pokemon. Similarly, thePokemon Violet-exclusive Mismagiuswill appear more frequently inViolet. While players won’t be able to find these Pokemon in their own games normally, this will result in both Pokemon appearing regularly on the Poke Portal’s Tera Raid matchmaking throughout the event.Pokemon Violetplayers will have no trouble finding Drifblim raids, whilePokemon Scarletplayers have a great chance to find Mismagius raids.

Drifblim and Mismagius Counters

Both Drifblim and Mismagius normally appear infive-star Tera Raid battles, and their moveset in this event will likely be quite similar to what fans normally encounter. Drifblim’s moveset includes the following:

Drifblim only has access to ghost and flying moves normally, but it can be frustrating with its stats moves. Regardless,Kingambit is a powerful counterthat can resist all its standard offensive options. Meanwhile, Mismagius comes with the following set:

Mismagius is more of an offensive threat due to its access to Nasty Plot and the move Mystical Fire. Dark and Dragon-types, such asRoaring Moon and Hydreigon, resist both these moves and can hit hard in response.

Players don’t need to stress too badly over this, however. While seven-star raids require precise move sets and lineups, five-star raids are much more manageable. So long as players don’t bring frail or under-leveled Pokemon that are weak to their moves, wins shouldn’t come with much trouble.
