Atlus' upcomingPersona 5 Tacticaunveils some of its pre-order bonuses, which include some Personas as DLC. The game wasfirst revealed alongsidePersona 3 Reloadat the Xbox Games Showcaseearlier this June, with a trailer that showcased the Phantom Thieves embarking on a new adventure. The game was also featured at the recent June 2023 Nintendo Direct, which spotlighted the game with a brief trailer that showed off more of the game and its new character, Erina. Shortly after the Direct, Atlus opened up pre-orders for the game on both digital and physical platforms, including PlayStation and Xbox.

Persona 5 Tacticais the first strategy RPG that is based on thePersonaseries, similar to others of its caliber likeFire EmblemorShin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor. It sees the Phantom Thieves in a new world that is inspired by the French Revolution, with newcomer Erina being the leader of a revolution. To get back home, the Phantom Thieves will take on all sorts of new threats. Players can enhance their playthrough with some of the game’s DLC, which includes new Personas.

The launch edition of the game is available for pre-order, coming with a physical copy of the game and two exclusive coasters depending on the region and retailer. This version of the game will also feature two free Personas that are pre-order only, Orpheus Picaro and Izanagi Picaro. Those names should sound familiar toPersona 5fans, as they are the two initialPersonas of the protagonists of the third and fourth games, themed afterPersona 5’s aesthetic.

There are also three DLC packs that will be available for pre-order and post-launch download, which can all be bought together in the game’s Triple Threat Digital Deluxe Edition. These are known as the Repaint Your Heart Challenge Pack, the Weapon Pack, and the Picaro Summoning Pack + Raoul Persona. More details about these individual packs were listed on the Xbox store, such as the Weapon pack being a series of stylish weapon skins. The third one in particular will add 11 new Personas for Joker to use, many of theseDLC Personas coming fromPersona 5 Royal. 10 of these DLC Personas are Picaro reskins of Personas previously used in the series, with Raoul being a unique Persona that was unused in the story ofRoyalbut re-purposed as DLC.

The Repaint Your Heart Challenge Pack is the one that has gotten fans the most curious, however, as it promises two new playable characters. A leaker has indicated that thisPersona 5 TacticaDLC will include Goro Akechi and Kasumi Yoshizawa, two popular auxiliary members of the Phantom Thieves. Some fans were already weary of the game’s DLC after howRoyalhad included several packs at launch too.

Persona 5 Tacticawill launch November 17 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
