The Under the Surphaze mission inPayday 3has players infiltrating a New York art gallery to steal a couple of paintings for a client that would like to have them before the pieces go back into private storage. There are multiple paintings that need to be taken, and each requires their own specific method to successfully take them.
The last section of thePayday 3heist will require players to find a flash drive for anUma Ladettepainting. There are two paintings by the artist in the gallery, but one is real while the other is fake. The flash drive will determine which one is real, but the drive itself is hidden somewhere in the building. This guide will show players where to quickly find the flash drive in the Under the Surphaze heist.

How to Find Flash Drive in Under The Surphaze
The flash drive, orUSB driveas it is labeled in the game, can be found in theManager’s office. The location of the Manager’s office will differ based on the difficultyof the heist, but is always located on thesecond floor of the building. The second floor is broken up into three sections of office hallways sandwiched between exhibition halls.
There are various ways to enter the building. Players can walk through the front door from the courtyard, or enter through the scaffolding on the side of the building. The latter would be much easier, since playerscan sneak intothe second floor immediately. Check each of the three hallways for a door with theManager’s Office signon it, and lockpick the door open.
Players might haveto subdue a civilianif one is already in there. Otherwise, the small office will be empty. While the flash drive is not needed until later in the heist, players will need the Manager’s Office to search for other paintings, so it can be done at the start of the mission.
Behind the manager’s desk isa hollow wallwhich will reveal a safe when interacted with. This safe will contain the flash drive along with a few piles of cash that can be picked up as well.Unlock the safewith the minigame of turning the dial until the lock turns green without going too far past. Repeat the process three times. The safe will open up, and players can take the flash drive.
