InPayday 3’sfourth heist, Rock the Cradle, players will need to find a way to distract the bouncer to the VIP room to gain access to the lower levels of the club. By taking control of the DJ booth and tampering with the speakers and the music, players can easily distract the bouncer and acquire the blue keycard inPayday 3’sRock the Cradle heist.
Reconfiguring the Speakers
Across from the VIP room entrance, a locked door can be opened to access astaircase to the second floor. Taking the door that exits the stairwell directly in front of the top of the stairs will take players to the artist catwalk where the DJ booth is located. If playerstake a left after exiting the stairwellthere is another staircase at the back of the catwalk leading up to the rafters. Players mustmask up, vault over the stantion rope, and head upstairsto access the club speakers.
There will betwo security cameraswatching the upstairs walkway that can be quickly shot out with a suppressed weapon - be careful to move slowly andstay crouched to avoid drawing attentionfrom the patrons in the balconies below. Once the cameras are down,sneak around the railingto each speaker setup andinteract with the speakers to reconfigure them. Once all four speakers have been tampered with, head back to the DJ booth,grab the DJ, and tie him upsomewhere out of sight. Sneak up to the mixing deck andinteract with the DJ equipmentto change the music.
Dealing with the Bouncer
Once the music has changed, the bouncer will come upstairs to the booth to investigate. Beready toshout him downthe moment he gets upstairs to avoid him setting off the alarm.Time him up and grab the blue keycardthat opens the VIP room off his belt - don’t forget toanswer his radiowhen security checks in.Be cautious of the managerwalking upstairs during this encounter and should her down in addition to the bouncer if she makes an appearance.
Withthe blue keycard in hand, head backdownstairs to the main floor of the cluband head towards the VIP room. The bartender and other security personnel previously in the area have departed, andplayers should be able to sneak behind the bar and behind the curtainsto access the blue keypad without raising the alarm from nearby club patrons - swipe the keycard and head downstairs into the VIP area.
