While players will need to head over to the Sakurajima region inPalworld, doing so will take a flying or surfing mount to reach. This is due to a large body of water separating the island from the center of the map. Saddles can be unlocked through the Technology tab in the menu using Technology Points, which can be accumulated by unlocking fast travel waypoints and leveling up.
The only issue with locating Katress Ignis on the map is that it simply won’t happen. This is because Katress Ignis does not spawn in the overworld like pals usually do, regardless of the time of day. Instead, players will have to brave the Sakurajima dungeons to encounter Katress Ignis, as they only roam the caverns along with many other powerful pals.
Players are in luck with the only alternative method: to breed one back at the base. By pairing up aWixenand aKatress,setting up a Cakefor them to consume, and allowing time to pass, the duo will lay a Huge Dark Egg. This will hatch into a Katress Ignis at every attempt, so invest the resources and time to hatch a dozen eggs as an easy way to earn the catch multiplier bonus.
Sakurajima dungeons are incredibly difficult, home to terrifying pals such as Wixen Noct, Katress Ignis, Bushi Noct, Maraith, and more. The recommended level of dungeons in this area is 53, so be prepared with the absolute best armor and weapons before taking on the challenge.

Katress Ignis is a solid dark and fire elemental pal with good attack and plenty of moves in its arsenal.Katress Ignis also drops Flame Organs and Katress Hair, which can be combined with other items to create various different tools, as well as High Grade Technical Manuals. Since hatching Katress Ignis via eggs does not give players these items, it’s best to brave the dungeons and take them down.
On the base, Katress Ignis has incredible versatility, holding Level 2 work suitability skills in Kindling, Handiwork, Transporting, and Medicine Production. This means that regardless of the workflow on the base, Katress Ignis should have no issue finding a job to do.
