The six types are Pal Spheres, Mega Spheres, Giga Spheres, Hyper Spheres, Ultra Spheres, and Legendary Spheres. Additionally, the Radar Sphere has been spotted in the game’s files but is currently unavailable and likely to be released in a future update. Mega Spheres, in particular, are useful in the earlier stages ofPalworldand allow users to capture decently powerful Pals while not costing a ton in resources. Interestingly, one fan found a new way to obtain them.
Reddit user EarthlingKira posted a video that showed their Vixy unearthing a Mega Sphere. Normally, a Vixy will dig up regular Pal Spheres when assigned to a Ranch, but the user explained that once they condensed their Vixy to three stars, the Pal began digging up Mega Spheres. EarthlingKira noted that the sphere dug up by the Vixy in the video appears to be a regular Pal Sphere at first, but this is apparently just a visual bug. After picking up the Sphere, the screen notes that a Mega Sphere was added to EarthlingKira’s inventory. Another user claimed that upgrading a Vixy again to four stars does not increase its rate for finding Mega Spheres or allow it to find rarer Spheres, so users should cap out at three stars if they only wish to use a Vixy to find Mega Spheres.
How to Get a Vixy to Dig Up Mega Spheres
Fans will need to usePalworld’s Pal Essence Condenserto upgrade a Vixy to three stars. They will also need lots of other Vixys to sacrifice in the Pal Essence Condenser. Some commenters stated that the number of Pals needed to upgrade one Vixy to three stars might not be worth it, but if users are looking for a surefire way to consistently find Mega Spheres, this definitely seems to be a tempting option.
Palworld’s Vixycan be found in the central and southern areas of the map. The Pal is a low-level creature, so users should be able to manage with regular Pal Spheres.
Although some don’t consider the Vixy to be amongPalworld’s best early-game Pals, it can be a useful companion. In addition to digging up Spheres, a captured Vixy will help with other tasks like harvesting plants or transporting resources.
