10What About The Minivan Accident?

The fourth seasonofOzarkopens up with the Byrde family driving on the road. Marty and Wendy talk about the FBI, and Wendy says “48 more hours,” which potentially suggests that they may be free from the extremely turbulent lives they have been living over the course of the show.

After some light conversation between the family, a semi-truck blares its horn, causing Marty to swerve and for the minivan to crash and flip multiple times. That’s it. The scene ends there. Did the accident actually happen? Did anyone survive? Hopefully, this scene sees a resolution in the second part of season four.

When her mother doesn’t return from her trip, Erin becomes worried, and Charlotte decides to tell Erin that Helen is dead. Erin becomes distressed, but Charlotte calms her down by threatening her. The big question for Erin now is “Will she disregard that threat and avenge her mother?”

Ruth frantically and recklessly barges into the Byrde family’s home, wielding a shotgun and demanding for Javi. Marty and Wendy warn her not to go after him. She disregards their warnings and speeds off. Ruth is very stubborn and driven, but Javi is also extremely ruthless and deadly. There is definitely cause for concern about Ruth going after Javi. One can only hope for a good outcome if and when they face off in the second part of season four.

7Will Sheriff Guerrero Get More Involved?

At the end of the first episode of season four, Javi kills Sheriff John Nix, who was a part of the show since season 1. After Sheriff Nix was reported missing, a new sheriff from a neighboring county was appointed to the police department at Osage Beach. Sheriff Guerrero takes Nix’s place, yet she doesn’t get as involved as Nix. In fact, she attempts to do more good as a sheriff instead of taking bribes like Sheriff Nix did.

However, honorable people inOzarkhave a reputation for living short lives. The question regarding Sheriff Guerrero is if she will get more involved with the Byrde family and their affairs in the second part of season four.

Three keeps Wyatt and Ruth grounded throughout the show. Although Three is a rather smallsupporting character, he still stays in the loop with what is going on with Wyatt and Ruth to some extent. For the most part, Wyatt and Ruth attempt to spare him the dangers of their lives. However, with Wyatt dead and Ruth seeking revenge, Three is by himself and with little to no knowledge of his family’s whereabouts. This could potentially lead to Three becoming reckless and searching for answers on his own.

5Will Mel Sattem Get His Signature?

Mel Sattem is a character introduced in the first part of season four. Mel is a private investigator hired byHelen Pierce’ssoon-to-be ex-husband. Her husband hires Mel because it seems to him that she is avoiding the finalization of their divorce. In reality, Helen died in Mexico after Omar Navarro had her killed.

Through the fourth season, Mel had frequently been preaching the idea that “all he needed was a signature,” which is what would bring an end to his investigation. Mel had been sticking his nose into dangerous places and slowly uncovering pieces of what happened to Helen. How far will Mel go to get this signature in the second part of season four?

4Who Doesn’t “Get Out Clean”?

The tagline for the fourth season of Ozark is “No One Gets Out Clean”. In a show where the greedy and subsequently violent nature of man is tested in almost every episode, that line is painfully obvious.

However, the question still stands: who is not getting out clean? In regard to some of the characters who died in the first part of season four, that question is answered. Nevertheless, the question of if the main characters “get out clean” or not is still present. Ruth is on a rampage for vengeance; Omar Navarro is still in prison; the Byrde family has to deal with Omar and Javi now. Nothing is certain about how the final episodes will play out for everyone.

3Will Wendy’s Father Get More Involved?

Not much was known about Wendy’s family before she metMartyuntil the third season. Ben Davis, her brother, made an extended appearance, but beyond that, her background remained unknown.

While major revelations are yet to be revealed, her father appeared in season four’s first part. We do know that Wendy and her father did not have a great relationship. He only served to move Private Investigator Mel Sattem’s plot forward, but he now knows that Wendy was stretching the truth about Ben to the public. With his daughter dragging her brother’s name through the mud for her personal gain, there is a possibility that he could become more involved.

2What Will Become Of The KC Mob?

The KC Mob started running drugs for the Snells, and then they moved on to the Byrdes and the Navarro cartel. Some members of the KC Mob were even gunned down by the rival cartel of Navarro.

The leader of the KC Mob leader, Frank Cosgrove Sr., had a disagreement with Darlene Snell in the first part of season four. This led to him confronting her in her home and her killing him. 1Will Omar Navarro Get Out Of Prison?

Throughout the series, Omar Navarro has successfully avoided spending any time behind bars. In the third season, Marty proposes the idea of turning an FBI agent onto their side. When it seemed that this was mostly successful, Navarro told Marty and Wendy that he wants to be free of the US government and the FBI and to move freely between the US and Mexico.

The plan fell through when FBI Agent Maya Miller went against the deal and her superiors and arrested Navarro. Navarro threatened the Byrdes into convincing them to let him go free, but they were unsuccessful. Even though he still maintains power and control while in a cell, will that be enough to free him or will Navarro’s story end in prison?
