Summary
Overwatch 2’s latest Support hero, Illari, does not have any new achievements tied to her character.Overwatch 2is rather unique when it comes to its achievement list. Instead of having a set of brand-new achievements like most video game sequels, it carried over the achievements from the originalOverwatchgame while adding some of its own achievements to the mix.
For the most part, the new achievements inOverwatch 2have been tied to its new heroes. As per tradition, thenewOverwatch 2heroeshave had a couple of achievements tied to them, challenging players to perform pull off impressive feats with each hero in the game. This has held true for every new hero added toOverwatchsince the original launched in 2016, though Illari is currently an exception to the rule.

Oddly enough,Illaridoes not have any achievements inOverwatch 2, and it’s unclear if she will ever get any. It took a little time for some of the other newOverwatch 2heroes to get their achievements, so it’s possible Illari’s achievements are just delayed as well, but that remains to be seen. Surprisingly, it doesn’t appear as though any new achievements have been added to the game with the start of Season 6 despite all the new permanent content that’s been added to the hero shooter.
Not only didOverwatch 2Season 6 see the debut of Illari, but it also featured the introduction of the game’s first majorPvE story missions. One would think that there would be new achievements tied to completing the PvE story missions inOverwatch 2, but none have been added to the game at the time of this writing.
There’s also the newFlashpoint PvP game modeto consider. OtherOverwatch 2game modes have had achievements tied to them, but Flashpoint still doesn’t have any at the time of this writing. Again, it’s entirely possible that achievements for this content could come at a later date, so fans should keep that in mind, but nothing official has been announced just yet.
If Illari and the othernew content added toOverwatch 2with Season 6never get achievements, it could be a sign that the game is done adding new achievements for fans to unlock. There are 164 achievements inOverwatch 2right now, and 0.01% of gamers have unlocked them all, so it’s not like the vast majority of players won’t still have achievements to shoot for.
Overwatch 2is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
