A recentOverwatch 2clip showed just how amazing these two abilities are when used together.Overwatch 2player Suumash, who provided the gameplay footage on Reddit, was playing Roadhog on Ilios against another Roadhog. Their opponent nailed a hook, dragging Suumash into the well on the Ilios objective. Suumash countered with a hook of their own, dragging the enemy Roadhog down with them. Just then, Suumash’sLifeweaver Life Gripped theOverwatch 2hero to safety, turning what would have been mutually-assured destruction into an amazing combo kill.

Lifeweaver and Roadhog Combo On OW2’s Ilios Map

Lifeweaver and Roadhog have a lot of natural synergy. Whilethe infamous well onOverwatch 2’s Ilios mapis an easy location for the heroes to take advantage of, this powerful play can be done on just about any map edge with enough skill. However, doing so requires perfect timing and coordination, so fans who hope to repeat Suumash’s combo will be better off trying it with a friend if they want to do it intentionally.

That said, Lifeweaver can just as easily be the bane of Roadhog. Using Life Grip,Lifeweaver can easily rescue a hookedOverwatch 2herofrom a compromising position, or from certain doom via map hazards.
