The sequel to Capcom’s hit ARPG for the PS3 and Xbox 360 was originally announced in June 2022, not long after the ten-year release anniversary ofDragon’s Dogma. The original game received widespread praise for its incredibly rich fantasy lore, vast open world, captivating combat, and immense character build variety, among other things. An elaborate New Game Plus mode also greatly contributed to its replayability, helping cement its status as a cult classic.
Based on the information and gameplay footage that Capcom has revealed to date, the upcoming RPG will retain much of its predecessor’s formula.
