The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Maskis arguably one of the spookier games thatZeldafans love, and that fondness hasn’t faded much over the years. Those players may be interested in knowing that a new replica of the game’s titular mask is going on sale soon.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Maskreleased on the N64 way back in 2000, which makes the twentieth anniversary of the game a perfect time to release a new mask replica. The 3DS remaster of the game was followed a couple years later by alife-size Majora’s Mask replicaof its own, also coming from the same toy company as the upcoming one.

This new Majora’s Mask replica is coming fromFirst 4 Figures. Unlike the first version of the Majora’s Mask replica, this one is a slightly smaller variant, and made of PVC instead of resin. The mask measures in at 12 inches, but fans who were hoping for a life-sized variant may still be interested in this release. The smaller size means that this version of the mask can be mounted on walls, which the original could not. Additionally, while smaller, the company is going all out, as this one features motion-controlled LED lighting, as well as an LED-lit base.

Majora’s Maskfanswho missed out on the original version may also be pleased to know that this one is considerably more affordable. While the original life-sized mask replicas went for $355 - $385, depending on the version purchased, this one is a much more affordable $99.99, and the website offers a payment plan, if money is currently tight. However, fans should be ready to put down 20% purchase deposit if they pre-order, and the mask won’t actually release until sometime in Q4 of 2020.

The long-lasting appreciation forMajora’s Maskis remarkable, and Nintendo seems to be taking note.The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildcontained a small tribute toMajora’s Mask, with the mask being added with the Master Trials DLC. The company was quick to point out that theBreath of the Wild 2trailer was darker thanMajora’s Mask, which, if the same ends up being true of the full game, will likely please fans who appreciated the darker, gloomy mood and aesthetic of the game.
