Twitch streamer and formerCall of Dutypro Nadeshot reveals why he is “afraid” ofHyper Scape, the new battle royale game from Ubisoft. Ubisoftlaunched theHyper ScapePC open betajust a few days ago, but it seems that Nadeshot may not play the game during beta or after it has fully launched.

Speaking during the CouRage and Nadeshot Show podcast, Nadeshot revealed that he has “no idea how in the hell I’m going to play this game”. While he has years of experience as a competitive first-person shooter gamer, at 27 years old, Nadeshot feels “very slow on keyboard and mouse.” Nadeshot joked that the pace ofHyper Scape’s aerial gameplay means that he’d need to drink five Red Bulls “just to comprehend some of the movement that is happening.”

Nadeshot admitted that he hasn’t played the game and has only watched streams ofHyper Scape, which has consistently been in the top 10 categories on Twitch, getting thousands of viewers. However, the streamer also said “I don’t know if I could ever play this game” and that “I am afraid of this game.” In case anyone was unsure about Nadeshot feels aboutHyper Scape, he added that he is “scared and I don’t think I’ll play it.”

Something that could make the game a little easier for Nadeshot and others finding it difficult to playHyper Scapewith a keyboard and mouse, is the confirmed PS4 and Xbox One release. Ubisoft has announced that theHyper Scapeconsole release windowis later this summer. Cross-platform play hasn’t been confirmed and there’s also no confirmation about the PC version supporting controllers. However, the console launch would give players a way to enjoyHyper Scapewithout needing lightning mouse keyboard and mouse abilities.

Nadeshot may not have to worry about any of this though, as CouRage has concerns aboutHyper Scape’s longevity. As much of thegame’s early success came from Twitch dropsto get into the first technical test, and now, to get more XP, CouRage wonders if the game’s playerbase and viewership will drop off.

AnewHyper Scapetrailershown as part of the Ubisoft Forward event confirmed that the development has huge plans for the game, such as new cosmetics and more information about the game’s story. This could have a huge effect on the game’s popularity, potentially giving Nadeshot and others another reason to start playing.

Hyper Scapeis targeting a 2020 launch for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
