6Richmond Avenal
Richmond Avenal fromThe IT Crowdwas originally a businessman. After listening to a Cradle of Filth album, he became Goth and was demoted to the IT Department. His colleagues made him work in the back server room because they said his pessimistic outlook on life was bringing people down. Despite being gloomy, Richmond often smiles and acts cheery. He acts vampiric to the point of fearing the sun and is fascinated by all things strange and spooky, such as spiders, skulls, and heavy metal rock music.
He wears classic Goth attire such as a black waistcoat, purple necktie, and leather boots. Richmond does makeup to make his face palelike a vampirewith droopy eyes and has straight black hair, all adding to his haunting and dramatic appearance.
5Sam Manson
Sam Manson is a Goth girl from the showDanny Phantomand the voice of reason for theirghost-hunting group. She is a vegetarian, activist, environmentalist, and one of Danny’s best friends. She uses her appearance to show off her individuality and independence. The gothic elements she leans into are industrial music and fascinations with the netherworld and subliminal.

Sam dresses like a spooky, independent teenager which is fitting considering she interacts with real ghosts. She normally wears few colors, with her crop top, skirt, choker, bracelets, and boots being black and the only pop of color being her purple tights and lipstick. Her outfits during the show vary from her normal outfits to rocker clothes to a romantic Goth ballgown. She’s even worn fake vampire fangs.
4Abby Sciuto
Abby Sciuto is a forensic scientist on the TV showNCISwho is loved by her team.Along with being Goth, she’s a Roman Catholic and scientist. She’s very upbeat and enthusiastic which breaks the stereotype of allGoths being gloomy, though she does have an interest in the death and supernatural. She sleeps in a coffin, used to drive a hearse, and decorates her lab area with toys like a “Bleeding Edge Goth” doll and “Teddy Scares”.
Her appearance includes black dresses, shirts, and miniskirts to match her black dyed hair she often keeps in pigtails. She wears anklets, toe rings, and particularly likes her choker necklace. There are at least nine tattoos on her body, the most notable being a giant spider web.
3Marceline
Marceline is fromAdventure Timeand is a mischievous and emotional one-thousand-year-old Vampire Queen. She’s also the on-and-off girlfriend of Princess Bubblegum. Rather than drinking blood, Marceline survives by drinking the color red, and can be dangerous when hungry. Her powers include minor control over fire, absorbing souls, turning into a bat, flying, and healing rapidly. She’s weak to sunlight, but unlikemost vampire lore, it won’t kill her.

Marceline has fangs like most vampires, along with blue-grey skin, long black hair that floats, and pointy ears that are likely from her demon heritage. The bite mark that turned her into a vampire is visible on her neck. A key feature of her is that she plays an electric bass guitar made out of a battle axe, which she often uses toangrily serenade people.
2Raven
Raven fromTeen Titansis part human and part demon. Originally from the parallel dimension of Azarath, she is reclusive and moody because of her dark and traumatic past. She loves meditating while floating off the ground, reading, and making sarcastic and smart remarks to her teammates. Raven is mature, often level-headed, and can appear pessimistic. She is emotionally restrained, secretive, and distant because when she loses control of her emotions she alsoloses control of her demonic powers.
Her appearance is mysterious, and her face is often shrouded in darkness. She has pale skin, violet eyes, angular violet hair, and a widow’s peak. The red gemstone on her forehead matches that of the ones on her navy cloak and gold belt.
1Morticia And Wednesday Addams
The entire Addams family is gothic, wearing black and showing that people don’t have to grow out of being goth. But the most notable of the group are Wednesday and Morticia Addams. Morticia is a confident, elegant dark mother who makes her children behave by threatening them with her acting nicely. She enjoys dreary locations like graveyards, morbid humor, and gruesome decorations. With pale skin, blood-red lips, a floor-length black dress, and long black hair, she looks like a vampire.
Wednesday is Morticia’s daughter and a Goth icon despite not wearing dark lipstick. Shehas a morbid fascination with deathand enjoys torturing her brother, who loves it as well. Her expression is often flat which goes well with her deadpan humor and cynicism. She collects headless dolls, raises spiders, and causes trouble. Her wardrobe is always jet black.
