Mortal Kombat 11is picking up steam this holiday season with new skins and freshly added characters like Sindel. Additionally, content like added brutalities andnew Thanksgiving-themed Towersare steadily giving players more content to dive into and enjoy.

However, the true centerpiece of the recent additions toMortal Kombat 11is the long-awaited return of Sindel. Sindel was introduced into the series all the way back in 1995 withMortal Kombat 3, as the mother of Princess Kitana and the wife of Shao Kahn. Though she initially appears in her resurrected form inMortal Kombat 11, it is possible to unlock a skin for her human form.

Unlocking Sindel’s Human Form

Normally, skins inMK11are unlocked through opening Krypt chests after completing towers in the Tower of Time. This process is often time-consuming and has a fair bit of randomness thrown in, making in incredibly difficult to get the exact skin players are aiming for. Luckily, a quick glance through Sindel’s locked skins can give some insight on a handful of quick and easy ways to unlock certain skins, like one of her human skins.

First, players will need to go to the tutorial for Sindel and make their way through her early prompts and training techniques. Sindel’s tutorial should only take players around 7 minutes or so to complete, and completing it will unlock Sindel’s Kingmaker skin. With this skin, Sindel will have a more human appearance as opposed to her standard resurrected Revenant look.

Unlocking Other Sindel Cosmetics

Unfortunately, if players want to unlock more of Sindel’s cosmetics, they’ll need to make their way through her specific character tower in the Tower of Time. Sindel’s tower is going to run players 25,000 koin. While there are a variety of different types of gear that players can unlock through Sindel’s tower, such asSindel’s recently revealed brutalities, it will be just as much of a gamble as with other character towers in the game.

Though she is only available currently through early access, players arealready learning Sindel’s best combos. Sindel received quite an impressive redesign for the newest entry in the series, and early reports are already positive regarding Sindel’s updated moveset. It seems as though Sindel’s moveset holds some of the best tools for mixups, pressuring, and stringing along high damaging combos.

Sindel is just one of the recent additions toMortal Kombat 11, with more DLC fighters on the horizon. However, for nowcharacter reviews for Sindelalready seem very positive about this returning fighter.

Mortal Kombat 11is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
