For example, a redstone-powered Furnace could be introduced to streamline the process of cooking food and smelting ores, using Hoppers connected to Chests similarly to the Crafter block. This would allow players not only to farm resources for a specific crafting recipe or potion, but to then directly turn those resources into the desired item without any need for manual work. While this might be a difficult task to set up and get things running smoothly, the end result would open up a world of freedom to players who can then focus on other aspects ofMinecraft. This works perfectly with the new structures coming with 1.21 such as Trial Chambers, which will require an intense amount of exploration and undivided attention to be fully experienced.
While new mobs andstructures always add a fun new dynamic toMinecraft, it is nice to see the title’s more intricate mechanics get some attention with the 1.21 update. The benefits that Crafter blocks give to the game’s efficiency and deeper gameplay speak for themselves, and it would be a shame if Mojang did not apply this formula to other functional blocks going forward.
