How to Reach Them
Look up at the toolsand Max will comment that she can’t reach them; therefore, look down at the washing machineinstead as Max will now have the option toturn it on.
The vibration of the machine will knock the tools on the floor beneath a cabinet, once again out of the player’s reach.Look down towards where they felland Max will see a loose piece of cardboard on the floor beside them. Max can push this cardboard under the cabinet but doing so now will yield no results.

To get the tools, simplyrewind to before the tools fell, place the cardboard under the cabinetandturn the washing machine on. NowMax can pull the cardboard out and grab the toolshassle-free, and the player should be well on their way tofixing her precious camera.

David’s Secrets (Spoilers Ahead)
To the right of the washer/dryer, along the back wall, is a row of wooden cabinets. The cupboard on the left, closestto the washing machine, can be opened to reveal what’s inside.
In there is a map of Blackwell marked with red circles and aTV set that Max can turn on. Do so and she will see thatthe “tiny tool” himself, David, has live camera feeds of rooms around the house and will wonder whether Joyce and Chloe know about this. A small dialogue icon will appear in the top left corner of the screen, indicating thatthis information will come in useful later.

Now, all the wayto the right, at the end of the row, sits a set offiles atop a cupboard.Grab themand Max will accidentally make them tumble to the ground and land in a pool of car oil.
What the player chooses to do now will have a small impact on how David acts later in the game. If Max chooses tolook through the files, she can see David has been keeping tabs on Blackwell students, particularly Kate Marsh, taking discreet photos of her.Max can talk to Chloe about thiswhen discussing David’s motives later in the episode.

If Max leaves any evidence of her snooping around the garage, David will bring this up later. However, using Max’s rewind powers to put the files back and close the TV cupboardwill make him totally unaware. Whatever the player chooses will not have a significant impact on the game, only changing some specific dialogue.
