InKena: Bridge of Spirits, players will meet a spirit NPC named Rusu, who helps them unlockKena’s ranged bow attack power. After this, players will have to dispel some corruption on a bridge by Rusu’s home, and making the bridge drop down is not as intuitive as it could be.
Getting to the Bridge By Rusu’s House in Kena
The bridge corruption takes place afterdefeating the first boss Kappa inKena: Bridge of Spirits, but before players begin the Taro’s Love quest chain. The bridge will be part of the main storyline, and dropping it down into position will be necessary to continue the story. Therefore, every player will come across this during their8- to 10-hour playthrough ofKena: Bridge of Spirits.
How to Unlock the Bridge Near Rusu’s House in Kena: Bridge of Spirits
When players come up to the bridge, they will find it swarmed with ranged enemies. They will need to use their new bow powers to take out the corrupted spirits. Players will want to utilize their shield as well as Kena’s quick dodge in order to avoid being hit by the enemies' fireballs. Once all of the enemies have been defeated, Kena will get the prompt to send theadorable little Rot charactersto cleanse the corruption flower. But there’s just one problem: Kena’s not close enough for her L1 Pulse to finish off the evil plant.
How to Clear the Corruption in Kena: Bridge of Spirits without the Pulse
to cleanse this plant, players will instead have to hit the blue, Rot-swarmed plant with their arrow. Draw Kena’s bow all the way back until it pulses with blue light once, then fire directly at the center of the flower. This will clear the corruption that is keeping the bridge from being lowered.
Now that the corruption is all gone, players will see that a blue target has appeared on the right side of the bridge. Fire an arrow and hit the target. It will spin and drop down, then the bridge will finally fall into place. After that, players will be able to proceed to the next area, which is where the Taro’s Love quest chain continues, and players will have tofigure out the difficult Fishing Shrine puzzle.
