Summary
With each passing day,Jujutsu Kaisenlooks like it is closing in on its end at blazing speed. The intensity of this story has been cranked up to the absolute highest in the Culling Game arc and fans have enjoyed the vast majority of it.The fight between Gojo and Sukunawas especially incredibly exciting for all the fans and, immediately after that, they were treated to yet another clash, this time, between the King of Curses and Kashimo.
That said, every fan of the story knew that this clash was not going to be a long-lasting one and it concluded rather swiftly. Immediately after, everyone’s beloved, Yuji Itadori stepped into battle alongside Higuruma, and now, fans have what could potentially be the final fight of Sukuna at their hands.
Sukuna’s Major Fight Against Gojo
Sukuna has been incredibly busy over the course of the last few months inJujutsu Kaisen. He has had to fight the toughest fight of his life against Gojo and it was quite clear that he was struggling quite a bit. Sukuna,utilizing Megumi’s body and the 10 Shadows Technique, was able to hold his own against Gojo and even overwhelm him in certain instances. Thanks to Mahoraga, he was able to adapt and figure out ways to counter Limitless and he successfully managed to do that. Even though Gojo dominated the vast majority of the fight and had Sukuna on the ropes, in the end, the King of Curses emerged victorious as Mahoraga provided him with a blueprint that allowed him to slice apart his enemy.
After delivering a tremendous fight, Gojo ended up dying and it was a very shocking and sad end for this phenomenal character. Fans were absolutely devastated to see this incredible character meet his end, however, there was no time to grieve as Kashimo, another powerful sorcerer, jumped in immediately and did not give anyone time to mourn. Kashimo took on Sukuna in combat and, for the very first time, revealed his cursed technique as well.
Sukuna Returns To True Form
Thanks to the incredible fight that Gojo gave Sukuna, things were made ridiculously easy for Kashimo. Gojo whittled down Sukuna to a point where he could not rely on Domain Amplification, or even utilize Domain Expansion. He could also not use reverse cursed technique, meaning his healing was extremely bad. Sukuna also lost parts of his limbs, such as one of his hands and he also ended up losing one of his eyes. His body was bruised and battered and it was quite clear that he could not fight at the best of his abilities.
Essentially, Gojo had done tremendous damage to him, and this made things incredibly easy for Kashimo. Fans knew that Kashimo would utilize his cursed technique because it was already made clear long before that he wanted to save this technique for Sukuna. Finally, when these two clashed,Kashimo unleashed Genju Kohasaku, his powerful cursed technique.
This technique allowed him to land sure-hit attacks even without relying on Domain Expansion and push Sukuna into a corner. Given that the King of Curses was already weakened at this point, he had no other option but to endure these hits. Sukuna was taking quite a lot of damage from Kashimo and, realizing that he could not win this battle as he was, he had to bring out his ultimate trump card, which was teased a few chapters before it actually happened. With that, at the end of JJK chapter 237, Sukuna brought forth his true form, from the old era.
Yuji And Higuruma Vs Sukuna
InJJKchapter 238, fans got to seethe conclusion of the fight between Sukuna and Kashimo.As soon as Sukuna took his true form, the narrator made it quite clear that, now, he was at full strength. His body completely healed, his cursed energy was completely restored and he gained the ability to use reverse cursed technique once again. This meant that he was at full health and that things had already wrapped up before they even started for Kashimo. That was made quite clear by the author in the chapter as, despite everything that Kashimo tried, he could absolutely not compare to the King of Curses.
Sukuna revealed his trump cards in battle and within two attacks, the fight was all but dusted. Kashimo met his end and it is safe to say that this was a rather unfulfilling death for his character. In the end, he did not really get any answers to the questions that he had, and his character simply just came in and went out, as has been the case with the vast majority of the characters in the story.
However, once again, fans had no time to process this death as, at the end of the chapter, two new candidates jumped into battle with Sukuna and they were none other than Yuji and Higuruma. These two characters are now going to take on Sukuna, who is already underestimating them, however, he might be in for quite a surprise. Fans already know that the person who will ultimately defeat Sukuna is none other than Yuji himself. Although he does not compare to Sukuna at the moment, he will most certainly gain enough power to completely overwhelm him and be declared as the victor. Yuji absolutely has to win his fight as it is one that has been built up for years now.
How Yuji And Higuruma Will Fight
Fans will most certainly see the fight between Yuji and Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 239. This fight is going to be an incredible one that will likely go on for a couple of chapters. The good thing is that Yuji is not alone in this fight and he has Higuruma with him. Fans already know that his Domain Expansion is extremely useful. If he manages to land this attack, then Sukuna will be subject to a trial and, if found guilty, his cursed energy can be taken away. This can prove to be a great advantage in battle, however, knowing how strong the King of Curses is, landing this powerful ability on him would be incredibly difficult, to begin with. And then, even if it does happen, fans should realize that logic really does not apply to Sukuna. He can, and most likely will, break out of it and one should not expect Higuruma to survive this battle for long.
Then, of course,there is the case of Yuji Itadori.Fans know that he is the main character and it falls on him to take down Sukuna. Not only has his friend’s body been completely taken away from him, but Gojo, his teacher, was also murdered before him. It is up to Yuji to kill Sukuna and fans are excited for that to happen. As seen towards the end of the chapter, Yuji appears to have awakened his Cursed Technique. He might not have realized it yet, however, within a few chapters, he might start manifesting it completely. Gojo once mentioned that his cursed technique is going to be the same as the one that is wielded by Sukuna. This means he can possibly use attacks such as Dismantle and Cleave himself. If that does happen, then Sukuna is in for a ride.
