Summary
Maki is one of the most important side characters in the world ofJJK, and with each passing arc, her relevance in the story only grows. Despite being born with very little cursed energy, Maki has proven her strength time and again. She wants to become a very successful sorcerer, and it is safe to say that she has already achieved this by this time in the story.
In fact, after her Heavenly Restriction truly took effect, Maki lost all remains of cursed energy that she had, and her strength was boosted considerably. Ever since that happened, she has gained insurmountable strength, and hit completely new levels of power, the likes of which can only be matched by a few characters. Along the way, Maki has managed to surpass several other powerful sorcerers and cursed spirits as well.
7Nanami
A Strong Grade 1 Sorcerer
Nanami is quite a powerful individual who fans knew to be a Grade 1 Sorcerer. He was quite powerful, having enough skill to fight against a special grade for an extended period of time.
Of course, Nanami proved to be inferior in strength when compared to the unregistered special grade curses, who showed themselves in Shibuya. In terms of strength, Maki far surpasses him and Nanami wouldn’t stand any chance against her in combat.
6Suguru Geto
A Powerful Special Grade
Suguru Geto is yet another individual who fans know was very powerful when he was alive. Geto was known tobe a Special Grade Sorcerer, which means that his skill was far higher than the vast majority of the characters in the world of JJK.
Yet, in the battle against Toji, he was able to do nothing, despite Toji not even going all out on him. This was at a time when Toji was not even at the peak of his abilities either. The fact that he could not stand up to Toji simply means that he cannot stand up to Maki either. What makes this even more apparent is the fact that Maki has trained even further ever since and gained incredible strength.
5Dagon
An Unregistered Special Grade Curse
Known to be one of the Disaster Curses, Dagon is certainly a powerful individual who fans got to see in actionduring the events of Shibuya.He was able to take on the likes of Nanami, Maki, Naobito, and Megumi at the same time in combat and still hold the upper hand.
However, once Toji join the battle, he wasn’t able to stand a chance against him. Given that Maki is Toji reborn, and holds similar power, likely even greater strength now, she will have no problem dealing with the likes of Dagon.
4Hanami
The Special Grade Disaster Curse
Another one of the Disaster Curses, Hanami was quite powerful and fans got to properly see their skill during the Goodwill Event arc. In this arc, Hanami was stopped successfully by the duo of Todo and Yuji.
If these two could stop Hanami, then Maki would absolutely obliterate them in combat. Especially now, Maki has acquired quite a lot of skill. Hanami’s ability to drain cursed energy would absolutely not work on Maki at all.
3Jogo
The Special Grade Disaster Curse of Flames
Jogo was the strongest of the Disaster Cursesand one that Sukuna acknowledged himself. Jogo was quite powerful and his abilities were certainly very deadly. However, Maki would have no trouble obliterating Jogo in battle as well. Maki is at a level where she can fight against Sukuna on an even footing and fans have already seen that once the transfer to Megumi happened, and now, with Sukuna having reincarnated to his true body as well.
Jogo, while strong, would not be able to defeat Maki at all, despite having access to powerful domains, which, of course, would not work on her.
2Mahito
A Powerful Special Grade Curse Born From Hatred
Manito is yet another powerful individualand the strongest of the unregistered curses who created all sorts of problems in the first half of the series. Mahito is quite powerful and fans know him to hold the ability of Idle Transfiguration. Even a single touch from Mahito can destroy his enemies.
However, against someone whose physical abilities far surpass human levels, he likely cannot even react before he ends up dying in combat. At the same time, fans have seen Toji Fushiguro resist the abilities of soul manipulation of Seance. There is no reason for Maki to not be able to do this as well and resist the powers of Idle Transfiguration. That said, Maki possesses physical attributes, skill, and understanding of the battlefield as well as the battle itself on a far higher level than Mahito, and for her, taking him down in combat is certainly a big possibility.
1Toji Fushiguro
The Sorcerer Killer
Toji Fushiguro, also known as the Sorcerer Killer, was a phenomenal fighter back in his prime days. Fans know him to be powerful enough to take down Gojo in battle, which is quite a feat in itself. While Toji is quite strong, Maki is now known to be on the same level when she fully realized her powers.
Ever since then, Maki has trained consistently. In fact, during the one month that the sorcerers had, every single one of them has proven to have gotten stronger. The same should apply to Maki as well, which would mean that she is now stronger than Toji as well.
