The fan said that the makers should cast the actor in one of the upcoming movies because all of his talent is “going to waste.” Gunn didn’t wait long to respond to the fan and noted that he would love to work with Gustin at some given point. However, he clarified that the actor is not associated with any DCU project. Gunn wrote, “Grant is an incredibly talented guy, performing now on Broadway, I believe, and is absolutely not going to waste just because he’s not currently in a DC project. But, of course, I’d love to work with him at some point.”
The most straightforward possibility for Gustin’s comeback would involve him reprising the role of Barry Allen. Several reports have shown that Gunn will replace all the Justice League actors for the DCU.
