Red Dead Online, the multiplayer half ofRockstar Games' wild-west adventureRed Dead Redemption 2, was released just over one year ago. In it, players take on the role of a silent protagonist freed from prison to enact their revenge. The world they enter is the familiarRed Dead Redemption 2sandbox, where players are able to fight, ride, and hunt alongside their friends.
The clear prototype forRed Dead Onlinewas the multiplayer half ofGrand Theft Auto 5,GTA Online. This mode has managed to keepGTA 5fresh and popular since its release way back in 2013, and now the two games are crossing over for the first time, givingGTA Onlineplayers the chance to earn a special weapon, Lowry’s Revolver, inRed Dead Online.

Lowry’s Revolver is aRed Deadweaponwith blood stains and tally marks along the barrel, and it can only be unlocked for use inRed Dead Onlineby playingGTA Online. InGTAOit exists as the Navy Revolver, which is found in the hands of a notorious serial killer, and to unlock it players will first need to complete aGTA Onlinemission.
The Serial Killer Mystery mission was added as part ofGTAOnline’s Diamond Casino update, and its in-game summary is as follows: “A vicious serial killer is roaming the countryside, carrying out bloody murders with an antique Navy Revolver. Scour Blaine County for clues and bring this wicked killer to justice to claim their unique weapon for your own collection.” Once players have completed this mission, they’ll be rewarded with the Navy Revolver inGTA Online.
Next,GTA Onlineplayers will need to complete the Navy Revolver challenge, which involves getting 50 kills with the gun. This will net the player with $250,000 and unlock the revolver inRed Dead Online, though some additional steps are required to access it.
To access the revolver inRed Dead Online,players will need to have aRockstar Social Clubmembership attached to both games. They must then find the revolver inRDO, and its location is in the cellar of a building southwest of Valentine, south of the A and L on theRed Deadmap.
