South Hogwarts can be found between Hogwarts Valley Region and the North Hogwarts Region inHogwarts Legacy. It’s the first area players will get to explore as it’s the home of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in addition to the Lower Hogsfield village, where some side quests can be found.
Other than the usual quests and hidden treasures, it’s possible to find Treasure Vaults that reward a Gear chest inHogwarts Legacy. Some of these vaults require solving a puzzle to enter or obtain the treasure.

South Hogwarts Treasure Vaults And How To Open Them In Hogwarts Legacy
The South Hogwarts Region is the home of nineTreasure Vaults inHogwarts Legacy.While solving some of the puzzles, protagonists will stumble upon enchanted cubes that require certain spells to be activated.
Treasure Vault #1
The first vault is found in the far west of the Lower Hogsfield Floo Flame. Use afire spellto burn the vines blocking the entrance and head inside to claim the treasure. The chest ishidden behind a pile of rocksthat are removed usingDepulso.
Treasure Vault #2
From the Lower Hogsfield Floo Flame, go north to find the second vault. UseAccioorWingardium Leviosato drag the enchanted cube back to its platform and cast afire spell inHogwarts Legacy. Enter the cave to retrieve the treasure.
Treasure Vault #3
The third vault is southwest of the Aranshire Floo Flame. Fly to the base of the mountain to find the vault’s entrance. From the platform’s location, turn north to find the enchanted cube. Guide it back and useLeviosoto open the cave.
Once inside, castRevelioandstand on the marked part of the floorto be transported to the other side. Repeat the step three times to find the chest.
Treasure Vault #4
The next Treasure Vault is north of the Aranshire waypoint. However,Alohomora IIis vital to open the vault’s door, which means collectingDemiguise Statues inHogwarts Legacyis a must.
To get the treasure, use the two portals to follow the floating leaves until they transform into a chest.
Treasure Vault #5
Summon a Broom or aflying mount inHogwarts Legacyand fly north from the Aranshire Floo Flame to find the hidden entrance between trees. Turn south to see the enchanted cube and bring it back to the platform. CastLeviosoand go inside to claim the treasure.
Treasure Vault #6
Return to the Aranshire waypoint and fly south on top of a hill. CastAlohomora IIon the lock to get inside and open the treasure chest. Beware of the Inferius lurking inside the cave.
Treasure Vault #7
The next vault is in proximity to the previous one, so keep heading south to find the seventh vault’s entrance hidden behind some trees, close to the dirt path. The enchanted cube is found north and requires afire spellto open the entrance.
Inside, there will be two rotating platforms and one has a lit brazier. Walk to the latter anduseGlaciusinHogwarts Legacyto turn it off and get the platform rotating to the chest location.
Treasure Vault #8
The eighth Treasure Vault is southwest of the Aranshire Floo Flame. Jump into the waters anddiveto reach the vault. Inside, head to the closed gate and turn right to pull the lever usingAccio. Two chests inHogwarts Legacyare found in the next room.
Treasure Vault #9
Fast travel to the Brocburrow Floo Flame and fly north to find a semi-blocked entrance. CastDepulsoand go inside to claim the treasure.
