The character will be making their first appearance of the franchise inHogwarts Legacy, and has fans excited after reading his initial biography.Hogwarts Legacyis an open-world, action role-playing game set in the 1800s, meaning it occurs far before the events of the originalHarry Potterbooks. The developers have repeatedly emphasized that the plot will follow the player as they “embark on a dangerous journey to uncover a hidden truth of the wizarding world.” Though what exactly this “truth” is remains under wraps,Hogwarts Legacyhas been slowly unveiling new content and characters, such as theDefense Against the Dark Arts Professor.RELATED:Everything Revealed About Hogwarts Legacy’s Combat So FarThe latest character to be unveiled is Abraham Ronen, who will be serving as Hogwarts' Charms Professor throughout the game. Ronen’s accompanying biography presents him as a kind man who values the friendship and extra-curriculars of his students almost as much as the class he teaches. Having grown up with a strict father, Ronen enjoys playing games of all kinds, and strives to incorporate them into his classes asgameplay elements ofHogwarts Legacy.

Not much else is currently known about Professor Ronen, though Chandler Wood, a Community Manager working onHogwarts Legacy, previously tweeted confirming that Ronen was sorted into the Slytherin house as a student. Perhaps this is due to the Professor’s mischievous nature and love for games - being partial to a game of Gobstones and allegedly having met his wife during an especially enjoyable Gobstones tournament, or maybeplayer choices could lead to him becoming a primary antagonist, with his Slytherin housing being an early indicator of this possible development, though that’s just speculation at this time.

Hogwarts Legacyreleases February 10 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. A Switch version is also in development.
