How To Trigger The Cursed Tomb Treasure Quest In Hogwarts Legacy
To trigger the Cursed Tomb Treasure side quest, it’s crucial that players complete The Helm of Urtkot main quest and find the treasure map.To find the item, head to Manor Cape Regionand fast-travel to the Bainburgh Floo Flame. Summon the Broom orany available mount inHogwarts Legacyandfly southwest to the abandoned manor. The manor’s entrance is swarmed with Inferi, so make sure to equip a fire spell.
Once all the enemies are dealt with, players should climb the west grand staircase and circle around to the left. Defeat even more Inferi and approach the gate to the south. Next, climb the slope and turn right to arrive in front of a skeleton statue, which is a secret entrance. Light the brazier with a firespell inHogwarts Legacyto be taken underground.
Players are immediately ambushed by Alisa Travers and later on by the Lord of the Manor. After defeating the enemies, open the locked chest with Alohomora I in the corner to get the map that triggers the Cursed Tomb Treasure quest.
Where To Find The Location On The Treasure Map
Upon inspecting the map, an X is placed on a location that seems to be between two mountains and hidden behind a waterfall. The only known location to have these features is the Tomb of Treachery in the Poidsear Coast Region. Teleport to the tomb’s Floo Flame and enter the cave.
Upon entering the Tomb of Treachery, keep going north until a tomb filled with bones appears. Burn the webs blocking the northern tunnel with a fire spell and continue on to defeat a couple of spiders. To proceed further into the tomb, the locked door requires three Moths to open.
How To Unlock The Moths Door
The first and second Moths are inside the room on the right side:
The third and final Moth is inside the room to the left where a small box can be seen behind some webs. To collect the Moth:
Now that the Mothdoor is finally unlocked inHogwarts Legacy, the final room is filled with Inferi. Defeat the enemies to solve the final puzzle inside the tomb.
How To Solve The Tomb Of Treachery Puzzle
There are eight tiles in total on the floor, which resemble the drawing on the map. To solve it, players mustcast Flipendo to flip three tiles according to the imageshown on the treasure map. After that, the square in the middle will rise to reveal a treasure chest, which contains the Treasure-Seeker’s Attire Appearance and 400 Galleons.
