A Reddit user named oz_marti has shared a clip of their battle against theRed Wolf of Radagon inElden Ring, showing how they managed to earn the victory after dying. The video begins with the Red Wolf of Radagon killing oz_marti with a vicious attack that deals a ton of damage to the player. The boss then decides to jump high up in the air, but the resulting fall depletes all of its health, as a message confirming the enemy’s death appears on the screen right before the game reloads.
A few users in the comments section aim to provide an explanation for these strange events, confirming that the Red Wolf of Radagon may have gotten caught on the chandelier in the level, which ultimately could have led to the death. According to one player,Elden Ringdoesn’t mark the completion of the jump in these cases, as it looks like the enemy took fall damage instead.
Another gamer makes note of the dramatic death animation of the boss, with some players jokingly stating that it stepped on LEGO pieces while landing. Many users also comment on how the victory message relates to the boss’ cause of defeat, while another fan claims that a similar incident occurred in theirplaythrough ofElden Ring. Overall, it does seem like oz_marti ended up getting incredibly lucky, as the boss had just under half of its health left.
The battle against the Red Wolf of Radagon takes place in theRaya Lucaria Academy legacy dungeon inElden Ring, and it’s one of two major bosses present in this level. After overcoming the red wolf, players will be tasked with completing an area filled with traps and enemies, with the boss against Rennala at the end.
