To unlock the PrincipalDoor inHello Neighbor 2Back To School DLC, Quentin must activate the generator which forces the Janitor to head inside the shed, leaving the key hanging outside. This complicated mission can be done by completing the following steps:
Getting The Key To The Shed
This is probably the easiest one out of all three steps. Upon unlocking the big black gates, head left to the backyard behind the school. One of the Janitor’s dogs will be there holding a key in its mouth. Luckily, this one seems friendlier than the other dogs, as players can make itdrop the key inHello Neighbor 2by throwing it a random toy to play with.

Unlocking The Gate That Leads To The Generator Room
Two crucial steps are necessary to unlock the generator room; obtaining a red wheel, deciphering the password, and unlocking the coded cage.
Red Wheel Location
On the first floor near the back door, head inside the toilets to the left. Walk to the end of the bathrooms and use the crowbar to remove the planks. The red wheel will be seen inside.
Finally, enter the classroom left of the front gate and place the red wheel on the pipes then turn it on. This step will be useful later when players are searching for the password.
Deciphering The Password
Before entering the classroom to solve the puzzle, go through the door at the end of the hallway, across the Principal’s Office. A stream of hot water will fall down from the pipe thanks to the red wheel. Throw the Flask under the water to fill it. From the back door,walk a few steps forward then enter the classroomto the right. A big52will be written on the board, it’s the first two numbers of the passcode. Approach the ice blocking the chalkboard from moving and use the Flask.
By turning the wheel from the previous step, hot air starts to come out of the fan near the ice, making it melt inside the Flask. Slide the board to reveal23, the second part of the password.

Unlocking The Coded Cage
Unlocking the cage is necessary since it’s the only way to the generator room. To reach it, climb to the second floor from the stairs near the bathrooms then head left. Upon encountering a crossroad, turn left and enter the cage room.
Obtaining The Principal Door Key
Obtaining the Principal Door key is easy once all previous steps are completed. Simply head to the shed andopen it using the shed key. After that, approach the door to the right and grab the Principal Door key from where it hangs on the wall.
