For almost nine years,GTA Onlinehas managed to keep its player-base invested in the game. Many players have stuck around because of Rockstar’s consistent stream of updates, bringing a slew of fresh content to the game over the years. For many, the new weapons, vehicles, missions, and heists added toGTA Onlineevery few months or so makes it worth returning to on a regular basis. But for some die-hard fans, new content can only last so long, and once every mission has been completed and every vehicle has been bought, they’re left to their own devices.
Over the years since its release, fans have become increasingly creative withGTA Online’s character creation tools. Keanu Reeves (John Wick, Neo and Johnny Silverhand)
With the Xbox One and PS4 versions ofGTA Onlinereleasing in 2014, many newcomers to the game had one popular movie character from that year on their mind when creating their character. Releasing in October 2014, just one month beforeGTA Online’s second release,John Wickmade a pretty sizeable impact on popular culture, becoming an immediate smash-hit.
Keanu Reeves' striking yet simple appearance as John Wick, with his dark gray suit, beard, and slicked-back hair, became instantly recognizable, lending itself to be the perfect basis for manyplayers’GTA Onlinecharacters. All a player needs to do is give their character slicked-back, dark hair, mess around with the facial features until they resemble Keanu Reeves' longer face, and head to the nearest clothes shop once in the game to purchase a gray suit.

Once a player has their Keanu Reeves template sorted, they can then adjust the character’s appearance to suit any of the actor’s most iconic roles.Neo fromThe Matrix, is a fairly easy alternative, requiring the player to simply remove the beard, change the hair a little, and give the character the Black Cashmere Overcoat, along with a Charcoal Shirt, some body armor, and some Black Wraparound Glasses.
This Keanu Reeves template can also be used torecreateCyberpunk 2077’s Johnny Silverhand. One of the best examples of this is Reddit user SnAk3EyE5’s post in the r/gtaonline Subreddit. This community creation is a very impressive translation of Silverhand, with his clothing, tattoos, glasses, and hair all appearing very close to his appearance inCyberpunk 2077.

The Last of Us Part 2’s Ellie
ThoughThe Last of Us Part 2made some pretty divisive changes, many fans of the game enjoyed the new direction it took, putting the player in the shoes of Ellie for a good portion of the story. With the player taking control of Ellie for a dozen hours or so, it’s only natural that her main outfit would become one of the most iconic images for the game, also appearing in most of the promotional material.
Reddit userBroozyr went about capturing Ellie’s iconic look, and did a pretty exceptional job. This community creation manages to nail Ellie’s facial structure, which is no easy task in a game with fairly limited creation tools likeGTA Online. This user also gives Ellie her ponytail haircut, along with her gray overshirt/t-shirt combo that has become synonymous with the character’s appearance inThe Last of Us Part 2.

This creation also boasts some smaller, impressive details that really add to the overall look of the character. For instance, Ellie’s jeans are a little ripped, showing that they’ve been worn for a while, and her right arm shows off a tattoo. While this tattoo isn’tthe same leafy design, the general shape and size of it matches surprisingly well. This user has even added a bracelet to Ellie’s arm, signifying the matching bracelets that both her and Dina wear in-game.

Breaking BadandBetter Call Saul’s Saul Goodmanmay not be the first character players think of making, but his sleazy, low-life lawyer persona fits right intoGTA Online’s criminal setting. Thanks to the Reddit user NotASynth499, fans of Saul Goodman can see just how well the character translates to the multiplayer game.
NotASynth499 has done a truly impressive job of brining Saul toGTA Online, giving him just about every piece of iconic apparel he wears duringBreaking Badand its prequel spin-off. A yellow shirt, checkered tie, and checkered suit capture the look of the character surprisingly well, with his comb-over hair and Bluetooth earpiece being the final touches that cement this character as Saul Goodman.
Spider-Man Characters
After theunprecedented success ofSpider-Man: No Way Home, it seems as though the Spider-Man brand is somehow even more popular than it was before. With the comics and movies having a vast array of characters, ranging from villains to allies, there’s plenty of inspiration to draw from for players looking to give theirGTA Onlinecharacter a little Marvel makeover.
Reddit user NotASynth499 is back once again, this time bringing some of the Spider-Man’s most iconic characters toGTA Onlinewith impressive detail. One of the most impressiveSpider-Man creations from NotASynth499is their interpretation of the iconic villain, The Lizard. A pretty difficult character to capture realistically inGTA Online, NotASynth499’s Lizard somehow manages it, wearing a long white coat to represent the character’s lab coat, along with a dinosaur mask and green gloves.
NotASynth499’s other Spider-Man characters include a well-realized Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane, and Black Cat, with each wearing their most recognizable outfits fromtheAmazing Spider-Man, Raimi trilogy, and comics respectively. Spidey’s first wrestling costume from 2002’sSpider-Manalso makes an appearance here, as does Peter Parker’s dark gray/black suit fromSpider-Man 3’s infamous dancing scene.
